28. Weltpreis für das Buch des Jahres der Islamischen Republik Iran

Das Sekretariat des 28. Weltpreises für das Buch des Jahres der I. R. Iran ruft zur Einreichung von Büchern auf. Bis zum 1. Oktober 2020 können Bücher folgender Themen vorgeschlagen werden:

a) Islamwissenschaft: Islamgeschichte, Islamische Zivilisation, Koran- und Hadithwissenschaft, Islamische Theologie und Philosophie, Islamische Mystik, Islamisches Recht und Rechtsprechung, Übersetzung klassischer islamischer Texte, Islamische Ökonomie, Zeitgenössische Islamwissenschaft, Islamische Kunst und Architektur, Geschichte von Wissenschaft usw.

b) Iranistik: Iranische Geschichte, iranische Sprachen, iranische Geographie, alte iranische Religionen Zivilisation und Geschichte, persische Literatur, iranische Kunst und Architektur, Wissenschaftsgeschichte im Iran, iranische Anthropologie, Übersetzung großer iranischer Werke usw.

Das Sekretariat des Preiskomitees lädt alle Wissenschaftler, Schriftsteller, Übersetzer und Verleger ein, Bücher bis spätestens 31. Oktober 2020 zur Prüfung vorzuschlagen.

Call for 28th Book of the Year World Award issued

The 28th Iran’s Book of the Year World Award scheduled for February 2021 called ‎for entries.‎

the secretariat of the Islamic Republic of the 28th Iran’s Book of the Year World Award, books to be considered for this event can be in any language, while should be on either Islamic Studies or Iranian Studies. They also have to be published (in their first edition) outside of Iran in 2019.

Each of the two main topics, Islamic Studies and Iranian Studies- includes quite a lot of parts and subdivisions, some of which are as follows:

a) Islamic Studies: History of Islam, Islamic Civilization, Quranic and Hadith Studies, Islamic Theology & Philosophy, Islamic Mysticism, Islamic Law and Jurisprudence, Translation of Classic Islamic Texts, Islamic Economics, Contemporary Islamic Studies, Islamic Arts & Architecture, History of Science, etc.

b) Iranian Studies: History of Iran, Iranian Languages, Iranian Geography, Ancient Iranian Religions Civilization and History, Persian Literature, Iranian Arts and Architecture, History of Science in Iran, Iranian Anthropology, Translation of Great Iranian works, etc.

Accordingly, the Secretariat of the Award Committee invites all scholars, writers, translators, and publishers to nominate book(s) for consideration, not later than October 31, 2020.

The interested authors are invited to e-mail a nomination letter to Prof. Heydari, the I. R. Iran World Award for Book of the Year Secretary at bookaward@ketab.ir, and send a copy of the submitted book(s) to the following address:
